Sarra Grill was so good even the water was delectable. Nadine was SO nice and welcoming for our first time there. Our food was DELICIOUS, fresh, and the tikka beef in particular was cooked to perfection with a sear on the outside and tender and juicy on the inside. Our portion was HUGE too, Nadine asked if I didn’t like my food but I just eat like a bird 😭 LOVE THIS LOCAL PLACE!!!
Well, the staff, food, hospitality was really amazing! We took the combination platter & everything was warm and full of flavors (& halal Alhamdulillah). Especially the chicken & sheek kebab were mouthwatering! Also took a beef shwarma, it was a bit oily but good & filling overall. Quantity was great. More than enough for one. Complimentary Pitas were a bit hard but it was well compensated by others!
The owner was super sweet and had great recommendations! We cannot wait to go back! Food was extra tasty and fantastic! Especially the lentil soup and their chicken wings!
The food was absolutely fantastic! We ordered hummus with pita, a fattoush salad, chicken kebab entree, and a shish kebab sandwich. The flavors were phenomenal and I could tell that the food was fresh and made in house. Our waitress Nadine was very friendly and attentive. Our food came out quick and in a timely manner. The prices are very very reasonable. So if you're a foodie, make sure to give this place a try.
This place is such a gem. My favorite place to get Mediterranean food in the Chicagoland area (and yes, I’ve had avec, aba, halal bros, etc.). This place has family style cooking that feels healthy and whole. Great hospitality, and a fantastic lunch special. See photo! All this for just $10!!! And don’t think they’re skimping on quality just because of the amazing prices. Everything ingredient feels high quality, the baba ganoush in particular is to die for.
Came to visit for the first time yesterday and the food was delicious! Everything was seasoned super well. Even the side salad was surprisingly very citrusy and flavorful !! 😮😮 Our server was very nice. My only note is that at the start we could have maybe gotten our drinks and appetizers a bit sooner. But otherwise a great experience, thanks so much for having us and we look forward to visiting again! :)
I have been going to Sarra Grill For many years now The food is always fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The grilled meats were tender and well-seasoned, the rice was excellent, and the lentil soup and salad were the perfect complement to the meal. Everything tasted authentic and made with care. What really stood out was the hospitality. Nadine and her team made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. It’s clear that they take pride in both their food and customer service. If you’re looking for delicious Mediterranean food, generous portions, and a warm atmosphere, I highly recommend Sarra Grill. I’ll definitely be coming back!
Nice spot to get some Mediterranean food. I liked their lunch special since you could try a little bit of everything and there’s decent portion sizes as well. Everything was super flavorful and the meat was tender. You have to pay for bottled water if you want water since they don’t give water out.
The food was excellent, and came very presentable not just thrown on a platter mixed with the rest. The service was amazing, i felt like i was back in my country where even the simplest of meals are talored to you as if you were in a fine restaurant. The employee came with my cup of soup and pita bread, gave me time to finish it then came with my main course, a simple lunch special with pieces of tender chicken a falafel and lamb served on a bed of rice. The pita was perfectly toasted and went very nice with the baba ganoush, had a nuanced zest to it, not too spicy not too subtle either. The ambience was quiet with subtle cultural music playing, not too loud to where you cannot concentrate on enjoying your meal, the tables and chairs were very clean. I will be coming back here and trying other dishes.
